If you are looking for buying Doel 0703, then you should first know that Model 0703 is a Notebook type PC. It is the 2nd cheapest model of Doel series laptop till now. The Doel primary Model was basically an Android operated device, but this device is truthfully compatible with Windows/Linux. It features an Intel Atom processor and with an Intel Chipset.It is useful for common purposes. It’s Ideal for University students, Business people, Executives, and Travelers, Teachers; but not for Gamers.
It does not have common features of today’s so called laptops such as a power consuming processor, optical disk drive, large amount of storage space, rich graphics…& so on. It doesn’t means that it’s worst for meeting basic needs of a person.. It provides all the features that a typical Netbook can provide such as easy portability and light weight with long battery backup.
Its name model 0703 has been taken commemorating the date 7th March, 1971. On that day our Sheikh Mujibur Rahman asked the whole nation to be ready for the liberation war.The main attraction of this laptop is that it’s very cheap. With only BDT 15,500 /- you can have the DOEL Laptop in your hands!

But as a Bangladeshi I proud of it! Maybe one day we do not have to rely on imported electronic items any more, everything would be produced here in Bangladesh! Well those are all lofty hopes. At least it’s a good start!
NOTE: First release of this model have a flaw of battery runtime, hence, TSS now produce this model with double battery capacity as they said. TSS placed 6 cell in place of 3 cell battery and renamed this model as DOEL Basic 0703P.
